I am feeling rather blue today..dear friend is having medical problems..cannot get her out of my mind......
Weather has been great..but it is turning more and more summer, I liked the cool beginning, wish it would stay..
It is harder to "get in to" my artwork with a heavy heart, but I have to, it is a must..need to post some photos some of my work in case someone stumbles into my blog..thousands of these things..hard to zero in to just one little spot..

I am a visual artist. I creat paintings done in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pencil. I accept commissions, my main sublects are wildlife, pets, horses, landscapes,abstracts, but I have been doing some portraits. I paint in a realist fashion, usually. - I am native to Wi. I have been married for 41 yrs. I have been a factory worker(forklift driver, shipping and receiving person), a go-go dancer, a house cleaner (what a combination, hey?) But through it all I have been and still am an artist.I have been drawing all my life. The subject matter was whatever was in front of me, but the very favorite was horses, and still is. Now, I paint, or draw in oils, acrylics, watercolors, colored pencils, graphite and pastels. The subject matter is very wide. Wildlife, pet portraits, horses, landscapes, abstracts, most anything, actually. I have painted out in the field,("plein air"), but I prefer in my studio. I have a huge amount of material to paint, just a lack of time. I do commissions, and have done lots of them. Just a good photo, is all I need, or a favorite subject. I have been in the wild, observing wildlife, and the landscape beauty that is at hand. I am planning on doing several small paintings, and posting them for sale, hope you all can find one you'd like to own, or let me know if I can paint that special subject just for you. I am not a poetic writer, with sing songy words, my sing song is in my artwork.
